Costas Georgiou S.A. participated in the 11th International Packaging, Machines, Printings & Storage Exhibition, “Syskevasia 2008”, held at EXPO ATHENS, from March 14 to March 18, 2008.

In the context of the company’s wider strategy to develop new eco-friendly products, its proposals for bags in biodegradable plastic (vegetable starch) and photodegradable bags were presented for the first time in Greece and were welcomed with much enthusiasm.

Moreover, special emphasis was given to the development of the paper bag segment. To this end, its sales department has been manned with established sales executives specializing in the above segment and collaborations with established international firms have been developed.
